Just A Thought

So actually I made an update since I just watch a documentary movie: The Cove. The Cove tells the story of the mass dolphin killing in Taiji, Japan. It was so heartbreaking and made me think a lot of the dolphins, mostly about animals everywhere.

The Cove tells how dolphins are one of the most intelligent being on earth, and maybe they could be more intelligent than humans. This made me think how humans are always claiming that they are the most intelligent being there is on earth for humans has the power to think and have a will to do everything they want. But is it really true? Does this intelligence correspond well with the state of the earth right now?

Animals don't have the ability that we have, but they could keep the well being of their own environment. Their everyday habit doesn't destroy their own home. By only relying on their instincts they could keep a well balanced life, not having to die due to strange cases of sickness, such as obesity. Most of their cause of death nowadays are because of habitat loss, poaching, climate change. Who are responsible of these causes if not the humans?

There are a lot that we could learn from the environment. It is amazing what the nature stores for us. I think our world still holds so many mysteries and it's a shame if we just let it be slowly destroyed.

Alas! A new post has been made! Rejoice world!

Apart from the tacky title, I just want to say that I'm back to blogging to hone my badly writing skills which I just realized thanks to the most dreadful English test I've ever experienced in university. Well dreadful wouldn't be what I call it exactly for I had so little time with so much to do. Well that's university I guess.

Oh btw I've already started my days as a university student and while it's been a fun ride, I still miss the holidays. I'm actually already facing the final exam, and only 2 more exam remains, which is cell biology and calculus. Sirghhhh. I only hope that the results could come out well. Wish me luck for the upcoming days and pray for my sanity! Har har.

PS: yeah now I could finally make a new tag: university :P

Days of Utter Boredom Starts Now

Reasons:
  1. I am now officially a High School graduate
  2. I finally got a college thus ending the days of morning wake ups and endlessly studying in holidays

All of this wouldn't be possible without the support of everyone and mostly God.
My prayers and love are still with friends who haven't got into their university of choice.

Suddenly the world seems beautiful when you're happy.
Even a stomach ulcer can't ruin this moment.

Rolling, Rolling, Rolling on the River

Despite the piling works and exams preparation, I still found time to watch movies. I'm a procrastinator, that's why. Here are titles of movies I watched recently and verdict given.

Up in the Air: A heartwarming movie, it was okay.
The Hurt Locker: SO THRILLING I was sweating bullets. I usually can't stand war movies, but this was amazing.
Sherlock Holmes: It was fun. ILU RACHEL MCADAMS BUT I SHIP RDJ-JUDE LAW.
The Princess and the Frog: The comeback of 2D Disney movies! A great one I might add.
Whip It: Quite boring. Same old story. But still fun.
Avatar: Smurfs + Pocahontas + Atlantis the Disney movie.
Where the Wild Things Are: Boring. Great music. Still, it was cute.
There Will Be Blood: Daniel Day-Lewis made 2,5 hours feel bearable.
Billy Elliott: It just became one of my favorite movies of all time. Amazing performance by Jamie Bell.

There are tons of movie I have but no time to watch all of it.

Sigh. Just wish me luck for the following weeks :'(

Chirpity Chirp Chirp

Thanks to my lone time with the internet, I actually now have time to catch up with my music needs. This is why I really appreciate wasting my time searching for new music resulting in the discovery of these great sounds:

Andrew Bird - Imitosis
He plays violin, guitar, xylophone, and whistling in one song. Wow.

Grizzly Bear - Two Weeks
I can't take this song out of my head for... ever.

Arcade Fire - Neighbourhood #3 (Power Out)
I actually suck at commenting every music due to lack of creativity. Just listen to the song then.

Julian Casablancas - 11th Dimension
I. Love. Julian. And The Strokes. Period. Plan to boycott Julian's solo career thus returning to working on the next Strokes album = failed.

Last but not least....

FINAL FANTASY aka OWEN PALLETT

You just have to love this violin playing final fantasy geek (final fantasy the game? yeah that's where the name is deprived from). Amazing sounds he makes from his wondrous violin playing.

This is one of the most dedicated performances ever of a musican:
The song is Lewis Takes Off His Shirt

And this is my favorite:
The song is The CN Tower Belongs to the Dead

The amazing Owen Pallett ends this post.
Now off to sleep.

Mr Droste and Mr Pallett says goodnight.
